Do not wait until the storm hits to try and build your house on the Rock. When the storm hits, it will be too late.

The ultimate and future goal of ArkHaven is to form “a Christian community of intentional neighbors” to prepare a campus on a “green island of survival” for a coming financial depression indicated by world economic trends, and prophetic voices, such as David Wilkerson, Larry Burkett, and others.

One of the greatest mission fields of the future is going to be disaster relief. The church was magnificent the way it responded to the Hurricane Katrina disaster, and everyone, including the federal government and the secular media, took note of how much better the church can respond and get things done in such a situation. We can do better than the government. We are here on this earth to be a light in darkness. After loving God, loving our neighbors is one of our main job descriptions (not forgetting evangelism), and few things will be a greater demonstration of this than those who respond to help their neighbors in their worst times. Isaiah 58 makes our mandate clear.  Soup kitchens and medical clinics set up in tents in the local towns will be a critically needed ministry.

This campus must begin by developing a Christian retreat business, diverse agricultural businesses, and disaster preparedness ministries that can incorporate all the things that will eventually be needed in the days to come.

The name "ArkHaven" is in reference to the Ark of the Covenant and to Noah's Ark.  Both of these Arks were covered with God's promise, protection, and provision.

“But realize this, that in the last days
difficult times will come.” — 2 Timothy 3:1

"The prudent see danger and take refuge,
but the simple keep going and suffer for it" —Proverbs 22:12

As fish are caught in a cruel net, as birds are taken in a snare,
so men are trapped by evil times that fall unexpectedly on them." —Ecclesiastes 9:12

"When the foundations are  being destroyed, what can the righteous do" —Psalms 11:3

The Lord is certainly pressing His preparation into the hearts and minds of those who have an ear to hear.  Are you one of them?

My vision is to form a community of "intentional neighbors" that will be totally self sufficient and able to operate outside the system when the economy crashes. But one location will net be nearly enough to meet the need. We will need to be able to go into all the local communities and set up tents that house a soup kitchen, medical clinics, etc.

Of course, we will want one of our tents to have ministry going on for many hours a day, praying for all the needs and leading people to a salvation knowledge of Jesus Christ. We will need to teach people (from one of these tents) how to grow things in their own neighborhoods so that they can make it through these rough times.  So we will most certainly start and finish as an evangelistic, mercy ministry.

We use such thoughts as self sufficient, self reliant, and sustainability to define what ArkHaven is all about, but ArkHaven is Christ centered and therefore much bigger than what those words can convey.

OUR PLAN :

VISION: God has compelled me to believe that ArkHaven is an ark, as in Noah's Ark and Ark of the covenant...God's promise to protect and provide for His called out ones.   No one location is big enough or close enough for everyone to come to, so ArkHaven must train, equip, mentor other committed believers with the same vision to set up other communities all over the world. That is our vision.

Are you looking for a community to join?
Are you looking for a worthy investment?
Is God moving you to North West Arkansas?

1.  A Totally Self Sufficient Christian Community
    of Intentional Neighbors.

WHAT:  Our concept of community is different than most Christian communities we know about.  By community we really mean intentional neighbors—a community of intentional neighbors.  In this setting we are living adjacent to each other to work towards the common goal of preparing a self sufficient community of Christians that is prepared for when disaster strikes our area.  This will not be a socialistic "common purse" community, or an Acts 2: 44-47 type ministry.

The power of personal liberty, personal responsibility, and personal ownership can never be matched by socialism for motivation and initiative, which directly factor into productivity.

In recent history we celebrated the 400th anniversary of the founding of the English colony at Jamestown, Virginia. One of the most important lessons of economics, which helped to set the course of America was demonstrated there. For the first two years, the colonists had a communal garden. For the first two years, 50 percent of the colonists died each winter from starvation. The third year, they decided to give a plot of ground to every person, and let them each eat what they grew personally. No one ever starved at Jamestown again.

The idealistic believe that this is an anomaly, and that people, out of the goodness of their hearts, will want to work hard for other people. The idealistic people who believe this are probably the kind of good-hearted people who would work hard for others. Since they only make up 1 or 2 percent of the people, this has not worked in history on any large scale. If it worked at all, it was in small, isolated cases, and most of the time it failed there too.

This does not mean that the people, who include almost all of us, are selfish because we need more personal motivation. We were made that way. God commanded Adam to "be fruitful and multiply" (see Genesis 1:22), and there is something in every human being that wants to be successful. This, of course, has been perverted because of the Fall and sin, but it was part of the nature that man was given. Anything that dilutes this will dilute the motivation and initiative of a person.

As a living example, the Amish think of themselves as a community of believers.  They own their own farms, but they work together to meet all the needs within the community, so between them all they are totally self sufficient.  Despite their success for centuries, the problem is, their doctrinal stance limits their ability to reach outside their community to minister to the physical and spiritual needs of others.

We will not require our intentional neighbors to be of our particular doctrinal group.  As long as we can all agree that Jesus Christ is our Savior and the absolute Lord of our lives, and have the same vision, we can not ask more of them than the Holy Spirit does.  The Holy Spirit indwells all true believers whether we like it or not.

In reference to our doctrinal group, we define ourselves simply as born again believers who have laid down our lives to our Lord and Savior, and who believe the Bible is the Holy, infallible Word of God.  That alone separates us from some doctrinal groups, but at the same time identifies us with others.

WHY: We anticipate the coming of troubled times happening BEFORE the official "Great Tribulation" comes.  Even as you read this message, millions of Christians in China and other nations are under terrible tribulation and persecution and martyrdom on this very day.  To say it can't happen in America is not being realistic.  After all, have we forgotten that there have been three wars and one depression in the continental United States, so why can't there be another one?  But to say we should prepare for such an eventuality as best we can is realistic.

  • It will take a lot of Godly wisdom to know what to prepare for, and how to prepare for it.  Understanding how to prepare will take Christians like you receiving a revelatory word from God, and then being obedient to move on the direction God has given you.

  •  I (Kenneth Uptegrove) am reporting on what my wife (Lora) and I feel God has shown us and many others.

HOW: Providing our own food, water, power and septic system, such as....

  • Truck farming: Hydroponics, greenhouses, gardens, berry bushes, fruit trees, grains and soy beans, all done by the natural and organic method.  We anticipate that insecticides, herbicides, fungicides, gasoline, and just about everything needed to do conventional farming will no longer be available.  We will have to revert back to the way farming was done before all these things became available, and that is the natural and organic method.

  • Animal husbandry: Chickens, ducks and geese, fish farm, milking goats, draft horses, etc.

  • Either an artesian well or a large spring with our own water tower and pipelines.

  • Either a large wooded area or a natural gas well on the land for an energy source.

  •  Several 500 gal. propane gas tanks are an option.

  • Solar panels, and will consider 50 ft. wind generators.

  • The kind of septic system that purifies waste water so well that it can be used to water a lawn.

  • We will always be dependant upon God as our source and our hope, utilizing what He makes available for us to use to survive and to serve all who come to us.

  • Churches, ministries, and investors are welcome to help build all this.

WHERE: Somewhere in the North West corner of Arkansas, preferably in either Washington or Benton county.

BIBIBLE PRECEDENT:  These precedents need little introduction.

  • Moses showed us that we must accept the possibility that we may eventually and ultimately be living by miracles alone as his people did in the wilderness.  God provided physical protection, provision, and promise.

  • Joseph is another model for us.  He had seven good years to prepare Egypt and his family for seven bad years.  Whatever time we have left we need to be preparing for the eventuality of the coming bad years, however many years that may be.

  • Noah was instructed by God to prepare a place (Ark) that was totally self sufficient so he and his family could survive the flood.  The Ark was God's place of promise, provision and protection.  ArkHaven was named after the Ark model, but incorporates the insight these three models give us.

  • 2 Timothy 3:1  “But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come.”

BOOKS BY DAVID WILKERSON:  God gave me this vision in 1974,  24 years before Wilkerson wrote these books.  If you find David Wilkerson a credible man of God that speaks the truth of God, these books should be on your "must read" list.  Read more about these books CLICK HERE

2.  A Convention Hall That Will Seat 1,500 People.

  • The conventions that I (Kenneth Uptegrove) organize will feature speakers and praise and worship leaders from the prophetic stream of the Charismatic movement.

  • Christian churches that build retreat facilities for themselves on campus will also be welcome to hold conventions.

  • Between conventions and large assemblies it will also serve as a community center  for the ArkHaven community.

  • A  gym and work-out equipment, meeting rooms, book store and coffee shop are planned.

  • A cafeteria/restaurant for convention goers and community members , workers and retreat guests.

3.  A Retreat, Resort, Convention center
    and Get-Away for Christians.

  • Overview: ArkHaven will start out as a retreat campus, resort motel, and convention center with one large hall and several small halls.  Around this starting point we will develop a full blown self sufficient Christian Community of  Intentional Neighbors as well.

  • Retreat facilities for churches: Christian churches will be invited to construct a building that contains a meeting hall, a kitchen, and bunk bed rooms.  When they are not using their halls, ArkHaven can rent them to other Christian groups (as prescribed by a contract with the church that owns the building).

  • Retreat facilities for individuals or small groups: Investors can build cabins to house one person or  a family.  We will rent them out, and the investors will receive their percentage.

  • Picnic grounds with pavilions and ball fields.  Hopefully there will also be a lake or river for fishing and boating.  Large barbeque pits can be rented.  All these facilities can be rent, and the investors will receive their percentage.

  • RV park and camping rounds for an investor to own and operate.

  • The Cafeteria will be available with reservations.  Another investor opportunity.

4.  Prayer Mountain—a 24/7 prayer chapel.

  • Prayer team leaders will be scheduled to be on had 24/7 to display prayer needs on the video screen and to occasionally lead in prayer.  But for the most part the emphasis will be on the spontaneous prayers of individuals present.  Quite a din of noise may go up, but this liberty must be allowed in order for all needs to be met.

  • Praise and worship teams will also be scheduled to lead in reverent, worshipful music so that everyone can inter into worship (if they wish) before starting to pray, and after praying.

  • For those wanting mature elders to pray over them, we will try to have such anointed people to do that.

  • A lounge will be provided with restrooms and refreshments and snacks.  Some people will want to spend hours at Prayer Mountain.

  • Retreat cabins will be available for those who want to get away from the world and fast, pray, and seek God.

5.  Disaster Relief and Recovery (Evangelistic) Team

  • This sort of ministry would house their headquarters on the ArkHaven campus.  They need warehouses to store the supplies they use in disaster relief, and lots to park their trucks, trailers, and busses.  Also, they need an office building and living quarters for their staff.

  • Having all their equipment and staff equipped, trained, and ready to leave to disaster areas in a moments notice is critical for this kind of ministry.  Such teams did wondrously after Katrina and the tsunamis.  In fact they were on disaster scenes faster the government relief teams were, and did a far better job.

  • This ministry will also evangelize and do missionary work the world over between and during disasters.

  • Such a ministry on the ArkHaven campus will ultimately serve the community when trucks can no longer run.  At that time their warehouses will have tons of provisions that can be used to feed refugees coming onto the ArkHaven campus.  And many of the refugees will not be saved, giving a new opportunity for the team to minister.

  • This warehouse could potentially serve as a wholesale grocery store and food warehouse for the cafeteria and the community at large.

  • Several local churches would like to be prepared for disasters that may come to our own area by having provisions stored in a safe, convenient place.  Storehouses on the ArkHaven campus could serve these churches well.

6.  Investors—Businesses—Supporters—
    Volunteer Workers—Members Welcome

  • Churches who would like to build their own retreat facilities for their use and to rent out when they are not using their facilities.

  • Investors can finance such projects as:

  • The convention center,

  • A radio station,

  • Dorms, picnic grounds with pavilions and ball parks, cafeteria and housing developments.

  • Businesses that are appropriate for the community will be needed, such as:
  • Hydroponics and greenhouse growers,

  • Natural and organic production of eggs, chickens, and all food groups,

  • Fish farming,

  • Contractors of all sorts to build for community members,

  • FM Radio station that broadcasts praise and worship music and convention speakers,

  • A convenience store with a gas station.  Beyond the immediate service of such a business is the availability of a large supply of gasoline and oil on the campus,

  • And others...talk to us about what you would like to consider putting in.

  • Supporters can help finance these and more.  It is vitally important for everything in the community to be debit free.

  • Purchase of a large acreage for the community will be very expensive

  • Financial support for the founder of this community will be greatly appreciated.

  • Financing the roads and infrastructure will be needed.

  • Building greenhouses and hydroponics houses will be expensive.

  • Volunteer Workers will be an important contribution.

  • Road construction and infrastructure companies will be a huge blessing.

  • The skills of carpenters, plumbers and electricians will be needed on a large scale.

  • Community Property Owners.  Community members can buy or build or rent housing in the community.  There will be covenant rules governing all these things so as to keep the vision and calling pure.

  • Property owners can finance their homes through the community management office if they can not build debit free.  But we plan to have rental houses  available eventually.

  • The housing covenant will stipulate that there be no outside debit on anything in the community.

  • By offering to finance the building of everything in the community, and by stipulating that any land that comes up for sale in the community will be sold to the community, we are assured that the land will stay intact and debit free.  This guarantees that none of our land will be lost.

Ginny Dye, the founder of My Power Mall, spent many years in the Network Marketing or Multi-level Marketing Industry. She was a leader and trainer in her company.  Anyone would have called her a success but she walked away from all of it 5 years ago.

Do you know that only 3% of people in MLM actually succeed?  That means 97% of them FAIL.  She simply could no longer introduce people to something and ask them for money, commitment and time; only to watch them fail, drop out and end up discouraged and disillusioned.

She walked away and never looked back.  During the last 5 years she has worked with a team of 60 amazing people, investing a half million dollars of cash and time, to create a simple system that EVERYONE can succeed with.  It is not your typical MLM.  It is not a typical Affiliate Program.  Frankly, it is not a typical anything!  It is simply a brand new concept that will allow the 97% of people who have failed before to finally succeed!

 www.mypowermall.com/biz/home/126615 to get in today.

  Sincerely,

 Lora Uptegrove
